The photographs on this page are from 10x8 inch transparencies. To minimise handling the transparencies, the images presented on this page are copies of the originals taken through clear protective sleeves over a fluorescent light table with a handheld iPhone camera. Viewers should note that the colour is not accurate, the cropping of the photographs is only approximate, and the illumination from the light table is not even. The files are low resolution. Despite these shortcomings, this selection is intended to give some idea of the content of large format photographs taken on field trips in eastern and southern Australian States over the last couple of decades. Prints from these photographs are at their best reproduced from high resolution scans of the 10x8 inch transparencies with at least one dimension enlarged to approximately 100.00 cms
